I was reminded today that I needed to update my blog. Amazing how time flys and I discovered I have not reported anything since the middle of July. Well lets see we were in Chelan a few days took a car full of stuff to the motor home for our trip and did some work organizing the storages and checking out things. We spent from Fri the 18th to the 23rd. It was a bit warm like 90's while we were there so spent time at the pool. One day we played water volly ball for two hours found some muscles that hadn't been used for while. Amazing haha.
On July 23rd we come back and stopped in Redmond to visit Kim & Ray and Noelani. She changes so much every time we see her.
Starting on July 24th Jerry has been working a security job at the trade center for 9 days for a Microsoft function. He works 12 hour shifts and then two and half hours travel time so becomes a long day. I am still working a few days at Costco doing product demo's but will be retiring again on Aug 15th. It is fun when you can work when you want to and retire again when you want to. haha
On Friday the 25th I spent the day with my granddaughter Gabby we went to a movie "Mama Mia" it was good. Then we went to lunch at Johnny Rockets. We had a great day.
On Monday I met Kim and Baby at Issaquah we had lunch at Julia's in Gillman Village it was Noelani's 2 month birthday. Later on that afternoon I met Teresa at Auburn Reginal Med Ctr for our Excercise session. In the evening I went with two neighbor ladies to the Muckleshoot to bingo but guess what we all were close several times but they just could not call that final number for us. Oh well we had fun anyway. So Monday was a very busy day.
The rest of the week it has just been working around the house for me and Jerry has been off to work those long days. He only has one more day.
Thats about it for now will hopefully do better posting. I will have to get very good when we leave on our trip or I will be hearing from the children by phone but it is good I have caller I-D I can screen the calls. Just Kidding I would never do that. Love to all.

The Past Week and Half Happenings
Kim visited us on Wednesday with baby Noelani. She changes every time we see her. We took a trip to Costco to get diapers. Had lunch there Wahoo!
Then Teresa and I went and had pedicures which was fun.
We are trying to spend as much time with the childrens as we will be leaving in August and they think that is to soon.
Jerry and I went picking Raspberries with our neighbors so been enjoying eating those yummy berries.
Today Kim and baby come down and she seems to have changed since the last time I didn't realize they changed so much each week.
Well that is about it for this posting.

Fourth Of July Week
Fire Works seemed to be going on for days before the big day and then for many hours during the night of the 4th.

We spent the 4th and 5th at SIR at the 20th Annual Pacific NW Historic Vintage Races. The cars in the picture are the Pacer cars. The Black one is the pacer car that goes around the track one time with all the race cars following keeping in steady lines the race does not begin tell the pacer car leaves the track. The white car is a car from the Mercedes Benz Phil Smart auto dealer. They supplied three cars for attendees of the races to sign up and go out before the Black Pacer car. We signed up and went out before the first race on July 4. The car in the picture is the one we road in. It was awsome going around the 2 1/2 mile track as you can only see half the track when sitting in the stands.
On Sunday the 6th we were blessed with a visit from Teresa, Scott and Gabrielle and Kim, Ray and Neolani and we all had dinner together and a great afternoon.
This pretty much wraps up the exciting part of our week.

I Guess Summer is Here
The temperature in Auburn is 94 degrees as of this posting. I see it is 108 degrees in Chandler. I suppose you all wonder how do I know such detail on the temps. Well we had to buy a new computer and on my desk top we have a panel that gives us temps of where ever we tell it and a clock and a slid show of all our pictures on file. It is so cool. Our other laptop computer is 6 years old and starting to have some issues. So decided it was time to get another one before it gave up. Wow did prices ever go down compared to when we bought the first one.
Well we just returned from spending 5 days in Chelan. Yes they finally got summer this past week also. Spent time in the pool and golfed one day, washed the motorhome, played pickle ball, socialized and went to a 30 year anniversary party of some great friends who live in the park we live in. We all had a good time. Oh yes, I forgot to tell you I went to a line dancing class that one of the ladies in the park is teaching. It is so much fun when I get down to AZ I am going to go to the classes that they have in our club house each week. Because I am not in Chelan every week and they do classes twice a week so when I go I am a bit behind the rest of the gals. I think I better get a bookkeeper as of now I will be bowling, golfing, line dancing, and I would like to work a couple days a week that is not going to leave much time to do all the domestic stuff. Oh well a person only lives once so I keep saying "live each day to it fullest". Oh I forgot I have to get my excercising in either water areobics or walking a couple miles.
The week end before we went to Chelan on Saturday night Steve & Holly fixed dinner it was a great evening they had their grandchildren there and my great grandchildren so we got to play with them. On Sunday we went to Ray and Kim's and Ray cooked dinner. It was great no cooking on the week end. I like that.
Another week and one day from the first day of July. Wow where is this summer going. Hope this finds all our friends and family well and enjoying their summer.

Fathers Day Celebration
Teresa, Kim and Barb prepared dinner for them. Gabby done the dishes. We ate and then wanted to take a nap. Gabby and Ray washed Scott and Teresa's car well they were spraying each other with the hose quite a bit of the time. Needless to say they were both soaked be time they got the car done.
All in all we had a great day. We were sorry Steve and Holly did not get to join us but Steve was in CleElm helping a friend sheet rock his cabin.
We do hope all our family and friends fathers had a great day. Weather was great.

We have spent the past two days at the hospital holding her all day long.Today Kim and baby got to go home so it is a new beginning for Kim. She will make a great mom something she has always hoped for.
We will go tomorrow and spend the day helping her while Rae the daddy works and brings in some bucks.

Good Bye to The Month of May
What have we done in the month of May. Well guess it has been some what uneventful.
Cleaned up in Chelan place and extended the patio.
Planted a little garden some of it looks ok and some of it don't. Guess I don't have the green thumb my mom and mother in law had they could always get things to grow in their garden. Oh well they would be proud of me anyway for just trying.
Had a great mothers day with the childrens. Been playing with the new camera they gave me it is nice and small and fits in my purse so will be great for the East Coast Trip.
Been getting the doctor, dentist and eye doctor appointments out of the way for another year.

Well I am getting board so this past week I went to Costco and talked to their Warehouse Demo Services supervisor to see about doing product demos for the Costco store and it sounds like I will be doing that two or three times a week. I think I will enjoy it and only 6 hour shifts so looking forward to doing that in AZ in the winter also. Plus it puts a little cash in the bank for our fun money for the traveling trips that we take.
In three days Jerry is looking forward to his first grandchild so stay turned for my next posting.
Love to all Barb
